Mr. Sengerema Thomas is a Rangeland and Natural Resource Scientist, registered and certified as an EIA and Environmental Audit expert with NEMC. He spent over three years at NEMC as an Environmental Management Trainee and previously served as a Research Assistant with the World Health Organization. His practical exposure covers project screening, Terms of Reference, site verification, EIA/EA report writing and review, environmental compliance, monitoring and audit, and OHS. He has extensive knowledge of the mining sector, especially artisanal and small-scale gold mining under the Environmental Health and Pollution Management Project (EHPMP).
