Professional Profile

Jofta Timanywa is a certified environmental expert (ESIA and Environmental Audit in Tanzania) with about 15 years of experience in ESIA and resettlement (RAP) according to international financial institution standards, including the World Bank (IFC PS) and African Development Bank. He has coordinated or supervised the implementation of E&S instruments for more than 15 projects, has hands-on experience establishing Environmental and Social Management Systems and developing monitoring and evaluation systems, and has extensive experience in project evaluation using OECD-DAC criteria.
