Effective stakeholder engagement is a cornerstone of every project TRES Consult undertakes. We design and facilitate comprehensive Public Participation Processes (PPPs) that meet Tanzanian regulatory requirements under the Environmental Management Act and international best practice standards including IFC Performance Standard 1 and the World Bank ESF.

Our services cover stakeholder mapping and analysis, community consultation meetings, public hearings, focus group discussions, household interviews, key informant interviews, grievance mechanism design and implementation, and the preparation of participation reports. We work across diverse settings — urban centres, rural villages, and remote areas — and are experienced in engaging marginalized communities, indigenous peoples, women's groups, and persons with disabilities. All consultation outcomes are systematically documented and integrated into project design, ESMP commitments, and RAP processes to ensure that community perspectives meaningfully influence project decisions.
